We are committed to make your one trip or multiple trips from San Diego airport to Jamul House and then back to the airport as pleasant as we practically can. Although Jamul House is tucked away in the mountain of east county known as Lyons Valley; and seems very distant from the city’s hustle and bustles, the truth is that it is only 30-minute drive from the airport at the most. Traffic is always modest in this area of the San Diego County.  Unfortunately, there is no public transportation at the present time. You have three choices if you have not driven to San Diego and arriving by air at the only San Diego airport. You could either rent a car or call a cab/uber or let us to get you to our house and return you back to the airport. We will be glad to do that; it is safer, quicker and you can just rest back and enjoy the pretty San Diego sights. If you chose to call a cab or Uber, expect a fee of about $40 to $90 for that one-way ride depending upon the time of the day.
